Editorial & Artwork Standards

These standards describe how our printables are made and checked so that parents, teachers and caregivers can trust what they print.

How artwork is created

Our coloring pages are produced as original vector artwork. Toddler pages in particular use bold, clean black outlines, large enclosed spaces, minimal clutter and a plain white background.

Review checklist

Before a page is published we check that it: is original and free of copyrighted characters, trademarks and logos; has clean margins and no stray or cropped lines; contains no frightening expressions, weapons, unsafe behaviour or stereotypes; uses inclusive, friendly imagery; prints crisply in black and white on US Letter and A4; and carries an accurate title, age suggestion and description.

Age guidance

Age labels are friendly suggestions to help you choose, not developmental claims. We avoid promises such as “guaranteed educational” or “improves intelligence”.
